For more than ten years Pepa and Jana have been part of Balinese life — and over that time the island of the gods grew so close to their hearts that it became their second home.
They learned to understand its culture, its rhythm and its quiet, while knowing exactly what a European guest longs for. From that union came first the successful Bali Butterfly Villas resort — and then an even bolder dream: to create a place where the complete privacy of a luxury villa meets the real, unfiltered atmosphere of east Bali.
And so Balisen was born in the peaceful village of Perasi. Together with a long-time friend they built two villas overlooking the rice fields and the sacred Mount Agung, a few minutes' walk from Virgin Beach. Their love for the island is hidden in every detail today. And in 2024 Lukáš joined them — Bali had won him over so much during his travels that he decided to become part of the whole story.
